Hawkeye Pricing

Find the Eclipse prices that fell behind your costs.

Hawkeye is pricing software for distributors with thousands of products. Every night its AI agents read Eclipse and find the customer prices worth raising. Each one comes with the reason written out.

You approve the ones you agree with, and Hawkeye writes them back to Eclipse.

Costs move every month. The matrix doesn’t.

Most Eclipse distributors price from the matrix: customer price classes against price lines. When a vendor raises prices, the cost gets updated. The overrides and special prices set for one account stay where they were. So do the non-stocks, which never landed on a price line in the first place.

Hawkeye checks every product for every customer, every night, and tells you which prices to change and why.

Non-stocks never land on a price line

A rep enters a non-stock to close an order, often without a cost, a list price or a manufacturer. It never lands on a price line, so nothing in the matrix ever reprices it. The next order goes out at the same price, and the one after that.

Hawkeye works from your invoices, so it sees a non-stock the first time it sells and compares its price with similar items you carry.

The Hawkeye Cockpit: a list of price changes, each with the reason, the old and new price, and the margin gained

Every change comes with the reason.

Each change says what happened, like a vacuum pump vane at 31% margin against a 44% median for the rest of its group, the only price there that hasn’t moved since 2024. It shows the new price, the margin at that price, and what the change is worth in a year.

What we find in the invoices

  • 1 in 4customer prices hadn’t moved in 12 months
  • 4.6 ptsmedian margin lost where cost rose under a flat price
  • $153Ka year in added margin, estimated, from one customer’s approved changes
“Hawkeye shows us the specific parts where costs have outrun our prices, and why. We approved 60 changes in one meeting, and they were in our ERP the next day.”

How it works with Eclipse

  1. Connect. Hawkeye connects to Eclipse read-only and pulls your matrix, price lines, overrides, costs, invoices and orders. Nothing gets written until you sign off on the guardrails.
  2. Find. Every night the agents look for a cost that moved under a price that didn’t, an override still in place after the cost moved, and non-stocks priced well below similar items.
  3. Approve. You approve the changes you agree with. Hawkeye writes them to Eclipse that night and tracks every sale at the new price.

Questions about Hawkeye and Eclipse

Does Hawkeye work with Epicor Eclipse?

Yes. Hawkeye reads your data from Eclipse and writes approved prices back to it.

What does Hawkeye read from Eclipse?

Your matrix, price lines, customer price classes, overrides, costs, invoices and orders. It builds a baseline for every product and every customer before it suggests a single change.

Isn't matrix pricing enough?

The matrix applies the rules you give it. It doesn't tell you which overrides and special prices have fallen behind cost, or which price lines need a new number. That is the part Hawkeye does.

Our reps override prices all the time. Can Hawkeye see that?

Yes. Hawkeye works from what each customer actually paid, so an override shows up like any other price, and it gets flagged when the cost moves under it.
